B24 weekend bus service begins again Jan. 6
Τhe efforts of Senator Gianaris concerning restoration of the weekend service of B24, which connects Brooklyn and Queens, were finally paid off. As from January 6th, the B24 line will run on Saturdays and Sundays, from Williamsburg to Greenpoint, from 5 am to 12:41 am.

The restoration of “the B24’s weekend service is a step in the right direction,” Gianaris said. However, “I will continue to push the MTA to reinstate all western Queens mass transit cuts,” he added.
In September, Gianaris was successful in extending the Q103 bus line service on Vernon Boulevard in Long Island City by 40 minutes each weekday.
