Local Memorial Day observances highlight the weekend ahead

My best wishes for a safe, enjoyable and, above all, meaningful Memorial Day weekend.

There are many ceremonies, parades, and other observances taking place across the region to honor our veterans, past and present -- and to pay tribute to the brave men and women protecting and making the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms at this very moment.
