'O'Mara's leap' brings home the Celebrity Sack Race title (and all for a great community cause)!

Last night's Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce Summer Rendezvous brought chamber members and their families together with a number of area officials at the Watkins Glen International racetrack for a night of fun and competition -- including a Dunk Tank and the inaugural "Celebrity Sack Race for the Chamber Cup."

The annual event is the Chamber's second-largest fundraiser. 

Senator O'Mara won the sack race competition and took home the coveted Chamber Cup with a leap at the finish line to edge out Watkins Glen Mayor Mark Swinnerton in the championship race (see photo above courtesy of The Odessa File).
