Reward Offered in Pregnant Woman's Death

Jose Peralta

As reported by NY1:

The reward grows for any information about the shooting death of a pregnant woman in Queens.

Anastasia Massey, 27, was shot and killed Wednesday outside her apartment in Corona.

Police say she was six months pregnant, but attempts to save her baby were unsuccessful.

Sources say the shooting may have involved a family member.

They say they want answers and are pushing forward on the investigation.

The reward for information leading to his arrest is $6,000.

"What happened here two days ago destroyed many, many lives and hurt a community. And instead of Mr. Massey celebrating Thanksgiving Day yesterday like so many of us did right next to their loved ones, Mr. Massey was worrying about how and when he was going to explain to their children what happened to their mother. And for that, this individual has to pay a hefty price," said State Senator Jose Peralta.
