Holiday Events Slated Throughout the District

It’s officially the beginning of the holiday season and with December comes many community activities.

This weekend is particularly busy with great events that include Johnstown’s Holiday Parade and Colonial Stroll and Ballston Spa’s Parade, both scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4th, at 6 p.m.; on Saturday, Dec. 5th, Schenectady’s Holiday House Tour at 10 a.m. and Northville’s Tree Lighting at 4 p.m., and on Sunday, Dec. 6th, is New York State’s Holiday Tree Lighting at the Capitol and Empire State Plaza from 1 to 8 p.m.

The fun continues the following week with great features such as Snow-A-Palooza 2015 at Bryant & Stratton College in Malta on Dec. 9th from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Speculator’s annual craft fair on Dec. 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Oak Mountain.
