Learning Garden at P.S. 316 in the News

(Brooklyn, NY - October 22, 2015) The Street reported on the opening of the new Learning Garden at P.S. 316 Elijah G. Stroud yesterday. Attendees included Senator Jesse Hamilton, Assemblyman Walter T. Mosley, representatives from Key Food, Dole Packaged Foods, and the Captain Planet Foundation, as well as parents and educators. The Street reports that “PS 316 Elijah Stroud students [have] the opportunity to interact with the environment through a learning garden, while expanding their palates and learning about food origins.”
