Sen. Ortt Responds to President Obama’s State of the Union

Attending Tuesday’s State of the Union Address in the House chamber was a surreal moment for Senator Rob Ortt. He went as Congressman Chris Collins’ guest and told reporters from the Lockport Journal the experience was one where “you kind of pinch yourself a little bit.”

Though Sen. Ortt said some of President Obama’s policy ideas were “good,” his speech left out a lot of details as to how to pay for the things he proposed.
