The Addison Knights girls softball team won the Class C, New York State championship at Moreau Recreation Park in South Glens Falls on Saturday, June 13, 2015 -- the first state title in the school's history.

An official Legislative Resolution commemorating the championship, sponsored by Senator O'Mara and Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,I,C-Corning) reads, in part, "The hallmarks of the Addison High School Girls Varsity Softball Team, from the opening game of the season to participation in the championship, were a sisterhood of athletic ability, of good sportsmanship, of honor and of scholarship, demonstrating that these team players are second to none."
