'Officials: I-86 is key to region's economic future' ~ I-86 Corridor Project gets underway to develop strategic action plan

"Attracting and retaining businesses along a section of Interstate 86 from the Town of Erwin to the City of Elmira is the objective of an economic blueprint that is now is being created.

The recently formed regional planning team for the I-86 Corridor Project is in the initial stages of developing a strategic action plan intended to result in economic growth in Chemung and Steuben counties."
