BVA Ambulance Dedication Memorial

Joseph E. Robach

I was honored to join the Brighton Volunteer Ambulance and the Brighton community to help remember former BVA EMT Zhe "Zack" Zeng, and dedicate a new ambulance in his memory.

If you don't know Zach's story, it's one of bravery and honor. Zack, a BVA EMT while studying at U of R, was working for the Bank of New York when the World Trade Center was attacked on September 11, 2001. Zack's EMT training immediately kicked in, and instead of running away from the chaos, he ran towards it to help those in need. Zack was tragically killed when the towers collapsed, giving his life to save others.

Many thanks to the Brighton Volunteer Ambulance for including me in this dedication, and for ensuring Zack's heroic efforts will not be forgotten.
