Working with the League of Humane Voters

Pleased to work with the Humane League of Voters on sensible legislation to protect all animals and pets. Surprisingly, currently if your pet is killed on the side of the road, highway crews have no legal responsibility to contact the pets owner. I am sponsoring legislation to make it a requirement to notify pet owners if this unfortunate incident happens to their family pet. Thanks to the Humane League of Voters for their advocacy.
