MARCELLINO APPOINTED MAJORITY WHIP

Senator Carl L. Marcellino (R, Syosset); Chairman of the Senate Education Committee announced today that he has been appointed to the position of Majority Whip for the New York State Senate Majority Conference.

“I am honored that Senator Flanagan has placed his trust in me to hold this important leadership position.  I look forward to working with my colleagues to help advance our Conference’s goals and deliver the votes we need in the Senate to pass critical legislation that will create jobs, reduce the tax burden and provide record support for our schools,” said Senator Marcellino.

Previously, Senator Marcellino served as the Vice Chair of the Majority Conference.
