Firearm Safety Workshop Planned

Rep. Chris Collins will host a New York 27th District Firearm Safety Workshop in partnership with New York State Sen. Rob Ortt at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at the Tonawanda Sportsmen’s Club Inc., 5657 Killian Road, North Tonawanda.

Representatives from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will be in attendance.

According to a prepared statement, the representatives will provide valuable instruction and information to attendees to encourage firearm safety and responsible gun ownership.
