New York state lawmakers to hold first public hearing on sexual harassment in three decades

Sen. Alessandra Biaggi (D-Bronx), one of the lawmakers leading the hearing, said about 30 victims, experts and agency representatives are slated to testify.
“I think the State of New York has been behind as it relates to sexual harassment policy and sexual harassment laws and being able to make sure that victim’s voices can be heard,” the freshman senator said.
