At World Cup parade, Cuomo signs pay equity bills into law

State Sen. Alessandra Biaggi, D-Bronx, who sponsored the equal pay measure, said she hopes the it will address systemic pay discrimination and ensure equal compensation regardless of race, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected attribute.

"From soccer fields to boardrooms, Americans across working sectors are standing up for their right to equal compensation, and today New York is answering that call," Biaggi said.
