Lyft offering New Year’s Eve discounts in Newburgh

CITY OF NEWBURGH — State Sen. James Skoufis and Assemblyman Jonathan Jacobson on Thursday morning announced a partnership that will provide for discounts to New Year’s Eve celebrants in the City of Newburgh who use Lyft, a popular ride-sharing service.
The partnership is between the City of Newburgh, Lyft and local state offices and will offer $10 off two rides that, theoretically, would be used to be picked up and dropped off from a New Year’s Eve celebration. The promotional discount starts Tuesday and lasts until Wednesday.
