City Council members join forces with State Senator Martinez

City Council President Anthony Eramo, Vice President Chumi Diamond, Councilman Scott J. Mandel, and Councilwoman Anissa Moore signed on to a letter from Senator Monica R. Martinez directed to the MTA Acting Chairman, Fernando Ferrer, in opposition to the Commuter Rail Fare Increases that are set to take effect in April, and requesting that any fare increases for commuters on the LIRR system be delayed in order to properly consider alternative proposals and to hear from constituents.
