NY Senate plans Syracuse hearing on rent regulations, tenant protections

Syracuse will host the first of four hearings held by state Senate Democrats on extending rent regulations and proposed tenant protections.
State Sen. Rachel May, who represents most of Syracuse and portions of Onondaga, Madison and Oneida counties, hopes the hearing will highlight the need for rent regulations and tenant protections outside of New York City.
