Warehousing way more than sneakers in revamped Hewlett store
The refurbished Sneaker Warehouse at 1328 Peninsula Blvd. in the Peninsula Shopping Center in Hewlett offers its patrons much more than sneakers as the contemporary, clean cut store shows off a smorgasbord of items, including sandals, shoes, sneakers, and socks, and apparel such as ball caps, jeans, polo shirts, T-shirts, along with backpacks.
A grand re-opening ribbon-cutting was held on July 10 with Town of Hempstead Clerk Sylvia Cabana and Councilman Anthony D’Esposito, Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association President David Friedman and Vice President John Roblin on hand. The town and State Sen. Todd Kaminsky aide Leo Meyers presented a certificate and a proclamation.
Sneaker Warehouse is open Sunday noon to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on Saturday.
