Yeshiva Ketana students meet State Sen. Todd Kaminsky

Fourth grade students at Yeshiva Ketana of Long Island in Inwood received a visit from State Sen. Todd Kaminsky on Dec. 2. The students in Sarah Abraham and Allison Silver’s classes heard from Kaminsky on civics and his role as a lawmaker in the State Legislature.
The Democrat from Long Beach, who represents the 9th Senatorial District that includes the Five Towns, also answered questions from the students on such topics as climate change, the cost of electric power and environmental issues.
Yeshiva Ketana of Long Island has a pre-school division, includes grades first through eighth and general studies and Talmudic studies programs.
