Senator Mannion, community members urge Gov. Cuomo to sign disability bill for kids
North Syracuse, N.Y. — State Senator John Mannion and some community members are calling on Governor Cuomo to sign legislation into law that would save and expand Central New York programs serving children with disabilities.
The legislation has passed in both the State Senate and State Assembly.
According to Senator Mannion, it would provide equitable funding to public schools programs and is expected to help existing programs and provide opportunities for additional programs in underserved areas.
