A walkthrough was conducted Tuesday at Ebbets Field apartment in Crown Heights after numerous complaints of living conditions were reportedly not fixed.

Residents walked leaders through their apartments to show them their living conditions. Leaks, broken elevators and rat infestations were some of the complaints.

New York State Sen. Zellnor Myrie says calling 311 many times can only get you but so far.

"We brought out all the big guns today. We got the attorney general, the city controller, public advocates office as well as our city agencies so that they can write in specific detail what is happening. and then our office will be following up to see if the repairs are going to be made. We shouldn't have to wait for a tragedy to happen before things are fixed,” said Myrie.
