Was Staten Island Chuck’s prediction of an ‘early spring’ correct?

As over 30 preschoolers from the local YMCA huddled together in winter coats, Executive Director of the Staten Island Zoo, Ken Mitchell, took the podium before Chuck’s burrow. He began by thanking sponsors of the event and welcoming guests, among them being representatives from Senator Scarcella Spanton’s office, and the office of Assemblyman Michael Tannousis. His brief remarks would be followed by an introduction of Executive Services Administrator for the Staten Island Zoo, Tiffany Feo, and Senior Advisor to Borough President Vito Fossella, Ed Burke.
