Purchase College Celebrates the Ribbon Cutting for New ADA Compliant Bus Stop, with $250K Grant from Senator Mayer

State Investment Spearheaded by Senator Shelley B. Mayer Made Upgrades Possible
New York State Senator Shelley B. Mayer joined Purchase College President, Milagros “Milly” Peña and other College leaders on Thursday, November 14 at 3:30pm to celebrate the ribbon cutting of a new ADA compliant bus stop which was made possible, along with other accessibility upgrades, by substantial state funding in the amount of $250,00 spearheaded by Senator Mayer.
Senator Mayer and President Peña were joined by Purchase College staff from the Office of Disability Resources and students who spoke about the importance of ensuring that the campus is fully accessible to all who work, study, and visit the campus.
