When Winter Break equals a NYS Commendation

Senator James Skoufis said he was “thrilled” to present Cornwall resident Mia Sabin with a New York State Commendation award last week. Sabin, along with her dad, co-founded the Cornwall Clean-Up Crew, a volunteer organization that cleans roadsides in Cornwall. “This crew has made a huge difference in the Cornwall community, and boasts a large army of dedicated volunteers,” Skoufis said. “Mia is a freshman in college, but she tells me that she still volunteers with the crew whenever she’s home on break. Thank you, Mia, for making a difference!”
