Acker — who’s an extremely proud member of “The Greatest Generation” — turned 100 on Feb. 2.
And to ensure that the milestone not go unnoticed, Acker was feted by those he holds most dear in the Staff Sgt. Michael Ollis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Oakwood, where he is a life member. Some 60 revelers made merry and raised their glasses in his honor.
