Bronxville Union Free School District, $27,417 for Inventory and Planning

  • City of New Rochelle, $48,825 for Active Records
  • Village of Bronxville, $20,505 for Historical Records

Active Records grants improve electronic filing systems, develop disaster preparedness plans and redesign office operations to make maintenance of records more efficient. Inventory and Planning funds are used to survey and inventory records, assess needs, and develop and implement plans for records management. Lastly, Historical Records projects help local governments preserve and support public use of records that have special, historical value.

The grants were provided by the Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund (LGRMIF), which was created by the Legislature to distribute fees collected by County Clerks’ offices.
