State Senator Malcolm A. Smith (D-Queens) announced today that he will be co-sponsoring the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development’s (HPD) homeownership forum. The event will take place on July 12, at 6:30 pm at the Southern Queens Park Association located in Jamaica, NY.
"I am thrilled to be able to co-sponsor this important event with the HPD. I hope that this event will be beneficial to first-time home buyers as well as homeowners who are considering home improvements," said Senator Smith.
"Buying a home for the first time can be a daunting task for most people. The HPD is a terrific resource for first-time buyers as well as homeowners who are faced with the challenge of obtaining a loan for home repairs or improvements.
