Larkin To Attend Solar Power Demonstration

On Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 12:30 p.m., Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) will join New York Power Authority President and Chief Executive Officer Eugene W. Zeltmann and Monroe-Woodbury Superintendent of Schools John Canzoneri to announce the installation of a 6 kilowatt photovoltaic array ( PV) at Monroe-Woodbury High School.
The PV array mounted atop Monroe-Woodbury High School will provide a continuous source of clean energy to the high school. A special connection to the school’s computer network will allow students to monitor the energy production. Immediately following remarks from Senator Larkin and Mr. Zeltmann, a student will demonstrate the computer connection.
Senator Larkin secured the state grant which enabled NYPA to install the solar panels at Monroe-Woodbury H.S.
