Klein Awards Grant To Wakefield Taxpayers Association

BRONX, NY – State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, will be presenting the Wakefield Taxpayers Association a $1,500 grant he secured for the organization to continue their community work in the Wakefield neighborhood of the Bronx. Senator Klein will be speaking at the Association’s monthly meeting about his work in Albany and across the 34th District.
“The Wakefield Taxpayers Association is truly the conscience of the community and this neighborhood is fortunate to and I am pleased to provide them with this funding to continue their advocacy in this neighborhood,” Senator Klein said.
WTA President Mary Lauro thanked Klein for his support, saying, “We appreciate Senator Klein for his support of the Wakefield Taxpayers Association and look forward to working with him on the many issues facing our community.”
