Klein Hails On Time Passage Of Municipal Aid Budget

ALBANY, NY- State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Westchester/Bronx), a member of thepowerful Senate Finance Committee, today hailed the on time Legislative passage the Public Protection and General Government portion of the state budget with millions in additional funding to Bronx and Westchester County communities in the 34th Senate District. Locally, the Senate-Assembly agreement:

bringing their state aid total to a record high of $ 82,439.

bringing their state aid total to a record high of $66,248.

The legislation, which passed the Senate and the Assembly with overwhelming, bi-partisan votes, is expected to be signed by the Governor.
