“The sacrifice our brave veterans have made for this country should be commemorated 365 days a year—not just Veteran’s Day.  That is why I think it is so important to bring our entire community—especially our children—together to salute these veterans’ service to our nation.” said Klein.

The schools participating in the program where PS 14 in Throggs Neck, PS 19 in Woodlawn, PS 83 and 108 in Morris Park, PS 175 in City Island, and the Chapel School in Bronxville. 

 

Chelsea has spent the first part of her year championing the official causes of MISS USA®, which include breast and ovarian cancer education, research, and legislation.  She will continue to travel both nationally and internationally as an advocate for organizations such as the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, the National Breast Cancer Coalition, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Gilda’s Club, among others.
