Senator Klein Secures State Grant For Eastchester Gold Star Mothers' Monument

EASTCHESTER, NY – State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Westchester/Bronx), a member of the Senate Finance Committee,today presented theEastchester Veterans Foundation with a $5,000 state grant he secured to jump-start their 'Buy a Brick' fundraising campaign for their Gold Star Mothers' Monument. The bricks, which can be personally inscribed, are being offered to the public to support the cost of the monument's construction, which is expected to top $100,000.
