Senator Malcolm Smith Announces Cable Show Schedule

State Senator Malcolm Smith (D-Queens) today announced his Senate cable tv show schedule. ‘At the Roundtable with Senator Malcolm Smith’ airs on QPTV twice a month.

"I want to make all of my constituents aware of my monthly cable show. I encourage everyone in my district to watch these programs so they can be aware of what issues are on the forefront here in Albany as well as what is on the horizon for the Queens community," said Senator Smith.

The schedule for the cable show is as follows:

Every third Wednesday - show airs on Channel 56 at 6:00 pm

Every third Saturday - show airs on Channel 35 at 1:30 pm

The Queens lawmaker said that past guests have included Mayor Michael Bloomberg, LL Cool J, Betsy Gotbaum (NYC Public Advocate), Marcia Keizs (York College President), Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr., and Queens Borough President Helen Marshall.

"These cable shows give me the opportunity to share important information with the people in my district. Each show has a different topic and a special guest. This is a great way for me to communicate with my constituents and I hope that everyone finds the shows informative and helpful," said Senator Smith.
