Senator Johnson Hails Copiague Marching Band

State Senator Owen H. Johnson (4th Senate District, Babylon), Chairman of the Finance Committee, presents a New York State Legislative Resolution to John Wevers --Director of the Copiague High School Band -- commending the Band on the occasion of their capturing the 2005 New York State LS 2 Championship. During the 2005 competition season, the Copiague High School Band went undefeated against all Long Island bands, won the New York State Field Band Conference in Syracuse, and earned the highest USSBA Championship score of all bands from New York State. This marked the 21st year the Copiague High School Band has performed as a competitive organization.
