Johnson (4th Senate District, Babylon), Chairman of the Finance Committee, recently presented Joseph Monteleone of West Babylon with a proclamation in honor of his continued service as a Restaurateur for 41 years and his tremendous support of the community he served. The Silver Pheasant Restaurant, which had been owned and operated by Mr. Monteleone, closed its doors after 41 years of providing excellent service to the families and various organizations of West Babylon.
Over the years, Mr. Monteleone’s family-owned business has been a local gathering place for many school and town functions to meet and debate in a friendly and warm environment. He is honored by Senator Johnson for all the time and hard work he has put into his family-owned business, enriching the lives of others through his leadership and charitable acts.
"I am pleased to honor Mr. Monteleone for his numerous years of service and dedication to the community," said Senator Johnson. "I wish him and his family all the best in all they choose to pursue in the future."
