Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) today announced there will be a local meeting to discuss state aid for municipally-sponsored projects under the "Restore NY" program.
The new program will provide assistance to municipalities to help finance the rehabilitation and reconstruction of cities, encourage economic development, and
improve housing in communities throughout the state.
"Little by little, we will bring back our cities and make them the thriving and prosperous communities they should be," said Senator Larkin. "The Restore NY program will improve the quality of life in our urban centers and create countless economic opportunities in and around the surrounding neighborhoods."
Empire State Development officials will conduct a meeting for the Mid-Hudson region to discuss and explain further the Restore NY Initiative. More information is available by visiting www.nylovesbiz.com.
