“As we age it becomes increasingly difficult to gain access to the same services we once enjoyed easily in our youth. It is to their credit, that the DMV has created such an accessible method of reaching individuals with physical limitations. I am pleased that so many people were able to take advantage of this exceptional resource,” said Senator Klein.
The DMV Mobile Outreach program provides on-site processing equipment to issue and renew learner permits, drivers’ licenses and non-driver photo identification cards. Individuals were happy to have made appointments and moved steadily along the line, working swiftly through the system.
