Klein & Mta Bring Better Bus Service To Bronx

Transportation Supervisors monitor these specific route to reduce over-crowding, balance the flow of traffic, handle service disruptions, determine ways to minimize delays, investigate accidents and equipment failures, conduct bus operator safety observations, monitor bus stop signage and bus operator customer relations, respond to customer inquiries, prepare written reports and communicate via dispatcher to command posts, and represent the MTA Bus Company at community events.
Yonkers. The fleet that the MTA Bus Company inherited from the former private bus companies consisted of 15 different bus models with average age in excess of 13 years per bus. The average age of the new fleet is less than three years old and all new busses are environmentally friendly. Our main priority is to provide the best possible services for our customers,” said President Savage.
Bronx, the New York Bus Company and Liberty Lines Express served the 34th Senate district. Liberty Express merged with the MTA on January 3, 2005 and New York Bus’ routes were taken over on July 1, 2005.
Manhattan and we’ve been very pleased with the way President Savage and the MTA’s express bus unit has responded to our concerns involving the quality of service. Thanks to Mr. Savage’s leadership we’ve not only maintained a high quality of service but in fact improved it,” added Assemblyman Benedetto.
The MTA Bus Company continues its ongoing analysis of express bus reliability to make service improvements and best serve the public.
