Klein Praises Governor’s Call To Action

New York families, children, and seniors through programs such as Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, Healthy New York and the Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) program.
Senator Klein added that because Spitzer’s executive budget plans to cut $219 million from HCRA programs, leaving fewer resources to fund these essential health services, it is more important than ever that the Governor negotiate a plan to recoup the lost revenues:
“The Governor has proven to be an attentive and conscientious leader. I have every confidence that these negotiations will be successful.”
