“Active young people are what galvanize this nation. Great movements for change have been brought about because young people exercised their power at the polls and we want to make sure that the next generation can continue that mighty American tradition,” added Senator Dilan.
“The great thing about our country is that every vote is of equal value, regardless of age or influence. Our’s is the voice of change, politicians and candidates have a duty to target the next generation of leaders. College campuses should reflect that reality by taking active steps to ensure that every student’s education can be translated directly into action,” said Mel Gagarin, a representative from the New York State Young Democrats.
