Senate Democrats To Hold Hearing On Paid Family Leave Bill

The New York State Senate Democratic Conference will hold a hearing on Thursday, Sept. 20, in Albany to gain input on legislation entitling workers to paid leave from employment in the event of a family health emergency or to care for a newborn child.
Representatives of the Paid Family Leave Coalition, the Working Families Party, 1199 SEIU, the Fiscal Policy Institute, the National Organization For Women (NOW) and individuals directly affected by New York's lack of a family leave compensation law have been invited to address the Senate Democratic panel.
Media is invited to attend.
