State Senator Owen H. Johnson (4th Senate District, Babylon), Chairman of the Finance Committee, was recently on hand for the dedication ceremony of the newly-relocated Holy Family Ukrainian Church in Lindenhurst. The new church and parish center are located on North 4th Street in Lindenhurst. The church, which had previously been located in West Islip, needed more space for its growing parish community.
"I am pleased to welcome Father Popovici and all the parishioners of the Holy Family Church to their beautiful new home in Lindenhurst," said Senator Johnson. "We are honored to have you here and I am confident that you will all find your new home to be a comfortable and peaceful place to worship."
