State Senator Owen H. Johnson (4th Senate District, Babylon), Chairman of the Finance Committee, was recently on hand when representatives from the Greater New York State Auto Dealers Association -- an association that represent 650 franchised new car and truck dealers in Westchester, Rockland New York City and Long Island -- presented West Babylon High School with a brand new "Resusci-Anne" Torso Complete CPR Training Device, courtesy of the National Automobile Dealers Association Charitable Foundation.

Senator Johnson worked closely with Gary Schimmerling, who is a Director of the Greater New York Auto Dealers Association and President of Babylon Honda, to secure this state-of-the art training device for the High School. The Schimmerling family has operated an automobile dealership in West Babylon for more than 40 years.

"There is no substitute for having had thorough quality training when it comes to performing CPR in a real life situation," said Senator Johnson. "Thanks to the generosity of the Greater New York Auto Dealers Association who donated this device, more students at West Babylon High School will have had this important training should they need to perform CPR."
