Senate Passes Larkin Bill To Give Peace Officer Status To New Windsor Court Officers

Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) today announced that the State Senate has passed legislation he sponsored (S.2894) to designate uniformed court officers of the Town of New Windsor as peace officers.

The bill was requested by the Town of New Windsor.

It has been passed by both the State Senate and Assembly and will be sent to the Governor for his approval.
