Senator Larkin Obtains $42,000 For Local Organizations Assisting The Disabled Community

Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) has successfully obtained $42,000 in state funding for Orange County AHRC, the Recourse Center For Accessible Living, Inc., and Ulster-Greene ARC.

Orange County AHRC, located in the City of Newburgh, has received $20,000 for the purchase of office computers and operating expenses.

The Recourse Center For Accessible Living, Inc. in Kingston has received $2,000 for the purchase of a computer and projector.

Senator Larkin was also able to secure $20,000 for Ulster-Greene ARC in Kingston to be used toward building renovations to its Pecora Center.

"I am very pleased to have been able to secure this funding for our local disability advocates," said Senator Larkin. "I commend the work they do every day for those struggling with disabilities. They are truly impacting the lives of many individuals and their families and I know these grants will go a long way to help continue this meaningful work."
