Senator Young recently hosted her first-ever telephone town hall meeting with residents from the 57th Senate District.
Using interactive teleconferencing technology, Senator Young, from her Albany office, was able was able to talk live to thousands of residents about some of the issues she is working on in the Senate, such as additional property tax relief, expanding the use of alternative energy sources, and strengthening the state’s agriculture industry. Residents also had the opportunity to speak directly with Senator Young and ask her questions about important local issues, all without ever having to leave the comfort of their homes.
Senator Young will be holding additional telephone town hall meetings across her district in the near future, so if you receive a call from Senator Young, please join in.
