Klein Throws Out Opening Pitch, Presents Throggs Neck Little League with $20,000

BRONX-Saturday was a beautiful opening day for the Throggs Neck Little League. Senator Klein ran out onto the field to cheer the team on and throw out the opening pitch. Never one to show up empty handed Klein brought with him a check for $20,000, which he presented to enthusiastic applause.

"When it comes to our youth we've got to swing for the fences. I'm proud to support our little leagues which teach our children the value of teamwork and community: when we play together everyone wins!"
