In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Senator Klein will host Louise Mirrer, President of the New York Historical Society which recently held the much talked about exhibition “New York Divided; Slavery and the Civil War”; Professor David Peritz, Chairman of the Department of Politics at Sarah Lawrence College; and Democratic County Election Commissioner Reginald La- Fayette in a scintillating discourse on the history and current state of Civil Rights in the United States.
