Klein Delivers $2,500 for Yonkers 2nd Police Precinct Community Council

YONKERS-After the recent passage of the state budget Senator Klein continues to fund worthy organizations and activities like the Yonkers 2nd Police Precinct Community Council. A happy cadre of community members showcased the bicycle they were able to purchase for the neighborhood watch. Enivronmentally friendly and street savvy, officers can cruise the precinct and keep close tabs on the neighborhood. Last year, the 2nd Precinct Community Council used their state grant to purchase exercise machines for officers to stay in shape.

"A bicycle is a great way to get a closer look at the community and stay on top of street level activity. It's gratifying to see a great organization like the Yonkers 2nd Police Precinct Community Council in action, making informed choices and putting state monies to good use," said Senator Klein.
